The Old Stores sleeps four - this bungalow has been converted with great character from the village shop and tea-room of the Victorian era. It is Norwegian timbered style and panelled throughout with antique pine.
The lounge has comfy sofas, an open fire for winter evenings, digital TV, DVD and video player. There are views across to the River Wye and the old water wheel.
The dining room has double glazed patio doors opening on to the lawn with garden furniture and your own private access to Monks Dale, here a stream runs by the side of the garden though it tends to dry up in mid to late summer.
The kitchen with its back door opening to the drying area has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine etc.
There are two bedrooms, one a double and one with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath with shower over.
There is off road parking. The property is close to the road so you may experience some road noise at times. The Old Stores may be suitable for the less able as it is on a single storey.
Both 1 Rock View and The Old Stores have central heating throughout - there is no charge for electricity or gas. Beds have duvets and linen is included.
We take personal care to keep the cottages very clean and well maintained.
