Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding’s real estate arm, has announced the awarding of three significant contracts valued at over AED 5 billion for the construction of ultra-luxury villas on Palm Jebel Ali. Scheduled for completion by late 2026, this initiative marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing development of this prominent waterfront destination in Dubai.
The contracts have been awarded to three leading construction firms: Ginco General Contracting, Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast, and United Engineering Construction Company (UNEC). The scope of the contracts includes the construction of a total of 723 luxurious villas within the Beach Collection and Coral Collection, all featuring exclusive beach access across the first six fronds of Palm Jebel Ali. The project will also encompass the comprehensive development of world-class infrastructure and vibrant public spaces across these fronds.
Palm Jebel Ali is poised to set a new benchmark for waterfront living in Dubai. Residents can expect a diverse range of high-end housing options, including 539 five- and six-bedroom villas from the Beach Collection and 184 seven-bedroom villas from the Coral Collection. Each villa is being meticulously crafted, offering a selection of eight distinct architectural styles for both collections. The luxury homes will feature expansive built-up areas ranging from 8,000 to 15,000 square feet.
In addition to the residences, the development will include a carefully planned network of roads, integrated utilities, and lush landscaping, all designed to enhance the community living experience for residents, families, and visitors alike.
Khalid Al Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Real Estate, commented on the significance of the project. “Palm Jebel Ali represents the pinnacle of waterfront living and reflects Dubai’s vision of growth and prosperity,” he stated. “It is set to contribute significantly to the emirate’s economic development, attracting investment and tourism for years to come. Partnering with Ginco General Contracting, Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast, and UNEC on this prestigious project demonstrates our commitment to developing and delivering the highest standard of living experiences available in the market.”
The Palm Jebel Ali development encompasses seven islands that span 13.4 kilometres and feature 16 fronds, offering over 90 kilometres of beachfront. This ambitious project aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan’s goal of expanding public beach access, aiming to enhance the quality of life for both residents and visitors.
As construction progresses on these luxurious villas, Nakheel continues to reinforce its position as a leading developer in the region, committed to delivering world-class living experiences that meet the aspirations of Dubai’s growing population and its visitors.
