BWH Hotels, the global hotel group behind Best Western and WorldHotels, has announced a partnership with leading hospitality cloud provider Mews. The agreement sees Mews become the certified Property Management System (PMS) provider for BWH properties across Europe.
The move signals BWH Hotels’ continued focus on technological innovation, with the aim of enhancing both operational efficiencies and guest satisfaction. Mews, known for its cloud-native platform, will provide the hotel group with advanced solutions designed to simplify property management and deliver more personalised guest experiences.
Ron Pohl, President of WorldHotels and International Operations at BWH Hotels, commented on the partnership, saying: “The collaboration with Mews aligns perfectly with BWH’s commitment to offering exceptional guest experiences. Their platform not only provides flexibility and scalability but also integrates seamlessly with our existing systems. This allows our properties to stay at the forefront of technological advancement while maintaining operational excellence.”
Mews’ platform is designed to support the full range of hotel operations, from guest check-ins to backend management tasks, helping hotels run more smoothly. European BWH properties will benefit from features such as online check-in and virtual concierge services, improving both the efficiency of hotel operations and the overall guest experience.
According to Pohl, the streamlined systems will help BWH properties focus on their core objective: ensuring that every guest’s stay is memorable. “With fewer manual processes and more automation, our teams will be able to dedicate more time to delivering a personalised, high-quality experience,” Pohl said.
Mews has built a reputation for its customer-centric approach and proven ability to integrate with existing hotel systems, making it a trusted partner for many in the industry. The partnership will allow BWH Hotels to keep pace with industry trends, such as contactless services and enhanced digital offerings, which have become increasingly important to modern travellers.
For Mews, this new partnership is an opportunity to further demonstrate the capabilities of its cloud-based platform. Matt Welle, CEO of Mews, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “We are thrilled to be working with BWH Hotels. The teams from both sides have worked closely to ensure a smooth transition, and this collaboration sets the stage for a strong and successful partnership. Together, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the hospitality sector.”
The transition to Mews’ platform has already taken place at several European BWH properties, including the Best Western Princess Hotel, the Best Western Hôtel Lakmi Nice, and the Best Western Plus Hôtel Isidore. Early feedback from hotel managers has been positive, with many praising the seamless integration process and the immediate improvements in operational efficiency.
As both Mews and BWH Hotels look ahead, the focus will remain on further enhancing guest experiences through technology. This includes a strong emphasis on loyalty features, as well as the use of customisable digital services to meet the evolving expectations of hotel guests.
The partnership between Mews and BWH Hotels is expected to pave the way for a new standard of operational excellence and guest satisfaction across the industry.
