HotelPlanner, a leading travel technology company and hotel booking platform, has announced a major restructure within its senior leadership team, aimed at accelerating global growth and strengthening its presence in key markets. The company, known for its proprietary artificial intelligence technology and 24/7 gig-based reservations system, is implementing changes designed to enhance strategic oversight and drive operational efficiency.
Co-founder Tim Hentschel will take on the role of Chairman of HotelPlanner for the first time, while also serving as Co-CEO. Hentschel, who will be based in the UK, will focus on expanding the company’s reach in the UK and Europe, as well as overseeing mergers and acquisitions. His new role will see him provide visionary leadership and strategic direction, with a strong emphasis on corporate governance across global operations.
John Prince, also a co-founder of HotelPlanner, has been promoted to Co-CEO alongside Hentschel. Prince will concentrate on growing the company’s business in North America and continuing to advance HotelPlanner’s leadership in travel technology, particularly through the development and implementation of artificial intelligence. Prince will remain at the company’s global headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Commenting on the leadership changes, Tim Hentschel said, “These elevations within our senior team are designed to accelerate global growth and position HotelPlanner for continued success. We are focused on expanding our footprint while delivering top-tier customer service and operational excellence.”
Bruce Rosenberg, who has served in senior roles within the company, has been promoted to Global President of HotelPlanner. Rosenberg’s new responsibilities will include driving growth and profitability across the company’s worldwide operations. He will work closely with all HotelPlanner brands and acquisitions to foster synergies and ensure effective operations. Like Prince, Rosenberg will remain at the company’s headquarters in West Palm Beach.
Additionally, April Grantham, who has spent a decade at HotelPlanner in various leadership roles, has been named the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. Grantham’s role will focus on further developing HotelPlanner’s customer service capabilities and increasing operational efficiencies. She will also be based at the West Palm Beach office.
The leadership team changes come as HotelPlanner continues to outperform the market, achieving a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 80% over the past five years. The company’s new structure is designed to expedite the delivery of cutting-edge technology, enhance customer service, and drive further expansion into new markets.
With this leadership shift, HotelPlanner aims to strengthen its position as a global leader in travel technology, delivering innovative solutions to both individual travellers and businesses. The company’s use of artificial intelligence, combined with its gig-based reservation system, has set it apart as a disruptor in the travel booking industry.
As HotelPlanner looks to the future, its leadership team is committed to building on its success and continuing to push the boundaries of what travel technology can achieve, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
