In a major step towards enhancing its reputation as a leading global hospitality destination, Marina Bay Sands has unveiled a new brand vision and completed an exclusive collection of luxury suites, marking a milestone in its ongoing $1.75 billion reinvestment programme. Known as the Paiza Collection, these suites cover the top floors across all three towers of the iconic Singapore hotel and are part of Marina Bay Sands’ ambition to redefine luxury hospitality.
The unveiling took place during a press event at the Sands Theatre, attended by Marina Bay Sands’ Chief Operating Officer Paul Town, Chief Marketing Officer Irene Lin, and Sands Global Ambassador David Beckham. The event showcased the resort’s brand vision, ‘Above Beyond,’ aimed at reinforcing Marina Bay Sands as an industry leader. According to Paul Town, Marina Bay Sands has consistently set the standard for luxury hospitality since its opening in 2010, and this transformation will “push the boundaries of luxury and create a new benchmark for the industry.”
The $1.75 billion transformation includes a full redesign of suites and amenities, supported by world-renowned designers and creative teams. The resort’s new brand identity, developed by Pentagram New York and acclaimed filmmaker Celine Song, aims to capture the grandeur of Marina Bay Sands’ iconic architecture and its ambition to exceed guests’ expectations.
At the heart of this transformation is the newly completed Paiza Collection, an exclusive array of rooms and suites, supported by Singapore’s largest butler service. The collection includes high-end suites such as the Chairman, Presidential, Skyline, and Horizon Suites, each designed to offer a world-class experience with a focus on bespoke craftsmanship and personalised service. The suites are accessed via a private lobby with dedicated lifts, offering guests both discretion and luxury.
The Chairman Suite, measuring 630 square metres, exemplifies the grandeur of the Paiza Collection. It is equipped with a 146-inch television, baby grand piano, private spa, gym, and fully stocked kitchen for lavish dinner parties. Other suites, like the Presidential and Skyline, feature state-of-the-art amenities including a golf simulator with over 45 virtual courses and a karaoke room boasting more than 300,000 songs. The Horizon Suite provides wellness-focused offerings, including a Himalayan salt wall, massage tables, sauna, hammam shower, and gym.
The transformation of Marina Bay Sands began in 2022, with an initial focus on upgrading rooms, suites, and high-end dining experiences. Once completed in 2025, the resort will have 1,850 rooms, including 775 suites—a substantial increase from the original 180 suites.
Each suite in the Paiza Collection has been crafted in collaboration with esteemed artisans. Hand-embroidered wall coverings from the UK’s Fromental, and Savoir Beds from Wales, constructed with layers of Mongolian yak wool, cashmere, and horse tail, highlight the attention to detail in every room. Additionally, bespoke leather products from local crafters Bynd Artisan bring a touch of Singaporean craftsmanship to the collection.
With these upgrades, Marina Bay Sands reaffirms its status as a premier luxury destination in Asia and a symbol of forward-thinking hospitality. As Paul Town noted, the resort’s latest transformation “mirrors our vision to continually raise the bar in luxury hospitality, setting the tone as we enter a new era.”
The Paiza Collection and the new ‘Above Beyond’ brand vision reflect Marina Bay Sands’ commitment to not only providing a luxury experience but also to establishing a new benchmark for service and innovation in the global hospitality industry.
